The merging happens in this page, using your browser’s own processing. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and there is no account to create. Closing the tab is all the cleanup there is.
What it does
Every page of every PDF you add is copied into a single new document, in the order shown in the list. Reorder with the arrows, remove anything you changed your mind about, then merge. You can add up to 20 files at a time. Password- protected PDFs cannot be merged, and one will stop the merge rather than be quietly left out.
Bookmarks, forms and signatures
Pages are copied faithfully, but a merged file is a new document: bookmarks, form fields and digital signatures from the originals are not carried across. If a signature has to survive, keep the signed PDF as it is.
